Build Your Apartment Playing During Beta

How to enjoy the penthouse while Bambu Farm is still adding pieces.

Beta Notes

The Roblox description says Build Your Apartment is in Beta and that new items and updates are constantly being added. That is not flavor text. It is the operating rule for every other page on this wiki. This note explains what to expect so you do not treat a Thursday catalog as permanent law.

What is already true

  • The experience is playable in Beta and has been open since March 2026.
  • Placement is free. Paint costs pixels. The part cap is 7,500 unless you buy Max Block Increase.
  • Friends can build with you online. Servers list a maximum of ten players.
  • Five passes exist: Fly Mode, Unlimited Save Slots, Premium Pass, Unlimited Paint Tool, Max Block Increase.
  • There is no verified code list, Trello, or Discord.
  • One public badge exists: Move-In Day, awarded for playing. See badges.
  • Public trackers stamped a place update on 6 July 2026 without a published item list. See the changelog.

Those facts are repeated so a patch note does not have to rewrite the whole wiki. When one of them changes, this page will say so.

What can move without warning

Catalog. A new chair can appear. An old one can vanish from a save. Keep a shell slot (save planner).

Prices. Pass Robux values have already disagreed across trackers. Confirm in the live store before you trust a letter rank on the gamepass tier list.

UI. The redeem box, the permission toggle, and the wiring tool can change labels. Guides describe jobs, not pixel-perfect button art.

Docs. Bambu Farm is a one-person team. Missing key lists are normal. Controls and wiring tell you what to test instead of inventing binds.

How to play anyway

Finish getting started. Save early. Pick one style from build ideas. Do not spend Robux on day one unless a blocker is real — use the gamepass picker.

If a friend says “the game is finished,” they mean their apartment is finished. The product is not. That is why this wiki uses live month stamps on titles and why we refuse to invent a full furniture spreadsheet.

What we will not write

We will not say the game is fully launched while facts.json marks early access. We will not promise a roadmap. We will not copy another studio’s Trello and relabel it. When first-party text appears, it goes on official links first.

After a messy patch

Rejoin a new server. Load the shell. Repair. Then load the daily driver. If wiring fails, rebuild one pair. If paint targets changed, stop spending pixels until you know the new cost. If a random site posts a “compensation code,” check the Codes Hub — the default answer is still none.

Beta is the reason this penthouse is interesting and the reason it is fragile. Build like you will have to repair it. That habit is the real update guide.

Tell friends the same story before they join. “This file might lose a chair after Thursday” is a better host line than “everything is final.” People forgive a missing chair. They do not forgive a host who acts shocked that a Beta catalog moved. Set the expectation, then show them the view. That is how short sessions become return visits.

Take one screenshot of the store page when you buy a pass. Prices move. If you later wonder whether Max Block Increase was cheaper last month, the screenshot is the only receipt that matters. The wiki can lag. Your camera roll does not have to.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about the penthouse sandbox.

Is Build Your Apartment still in Beta?

Yes. The official description still presents it as a Beta sandbox with items being added.

When did it open?

Trackers place the experience in March 2026. Treat that as an open-in-Beta date, not a finished launch.

Will my saves break?

They can lose pieces after catalog changes. Keep a shell slot and repair before you host friends.

Is there a public roadmap?

None we can verify. Watch the game page and the Bambu Farm group.
